When the sun is shining, the days are long and the faint smell of sunscreen lingers in the air, there’s only one thing to do - start your day with a smoothie bowl!
I love playing around with exciting fruit and nut butter combos but you can’t go wrong the classics. This recipe uses frozen blueberries, protein and almond butter and it is a whole vibe.
Creamy, vibrant and refreshing, topped with crunchy coconut crisps and granola, this is the ultimate summertime breakfast or snack☀️
Ingredients
100g frozen blueberries
1 scoop vanilla protein powder
100-125ml milk of choice (depending on how thick you want it)
1 tbsp almond butter
Optional toppings:
Fresh fruit
Granola
Coconut flakes
Nuts
Seeds
Method:
Add all ingredients to a blender/ food processor/ Nutri bullet and blend on high until creamy and smooth. Add more or less milk depending on how thick or runny you want it.
Pour into a bowl and top with any extras.
Dig in immediately before it starts to melt.
