Cumin Chicken

This is one of my go to dishes when I'm feeling lazy or need to throw something together quickly.

It's super simple and requires minimal ingredients, perfect for a weekend or when you can't be bothered to go grocery shopping.

Serve it in a wrap, in a sandwich or bagel, on a salad, with some rice or any carb that you desire!

Ingredients

  • 500g chicken breast cut into strips

  • 100g fat free Greek Yoghurt

  • 15g light butter/ oil / ghee

  • 4-5 cloves garlic

  • 1 tbsp ground cumin

  • 1 tsp paprika

  • 1/2 tsp garam masala

  • Chilli powder if you want it spicy

  • Salt to taste

Method

  1. Marinate the chicken breast in the yoghurt, garlic and spices for a few hours.

  2. When ready to cook, heat a pan on high with the butter.

  3. Once the pan is hot, add in the chicken breast and cook until nice & brown.

  4. If you want extra sauce you can add more yoghurt.
