This EPIC churro baked oatmeal that’s covered in cinnamon sugar and filled with gooey, molten Nutella will most definitely hit the spot.
Honestly, I don’t think I’m exaggerating when I say that this is hands down the best baked oats recipe… ever…
Have it for breakfast, have it for dessert, have it as a snack, have it any time of the day…
Ingredients
50g oats
1 scoop vanilla protein powder (a whey/casein blend or vegan protein will work best)
30g plain Greek yoghurt
100ml milk of choice
1 heaped tsp nutella
1/2 tsp vanilla essence
1/2 tsp baking powder
For the top:
1/2 tsp cinnamon
2 tsp granulated sweetener of choice
Method:
Preheat the oven to 180C/ 350F/ Gas mark 4.
Blend all the ingredients except for the Nutella.
Pour half the mixture into an ovenproof dish and spoon the Nutella into the centre. Pour over the rest of the mixture.
Bake for 12-18 minutes - less if you want it gooey, more if you want it more like a cake.
Sprinkle with the cinnamon sugar and dig in while it’s warm and the Nutella is like lava🤤
