Take your breakfast game to another level with this overnight oats recipe.
Creamy oats topped with a layer of peanut butter and chocolate, sprinkled with chopped peanuts for a salty crunch… It’s basically a snickers bar in breakfast form.
Add in a scoop of protein powder to make this a high-protein breakfast that’s delicious, satisfying and that will keep you full for hours (unlike an actual Snickers bar).
Prepare the night before and you’ll have something to look forward to in the morning!
Ingredients:
40g oats
125ml almond milk (or milk of choice)
15g salted caramel protein powder or any flavour you have (optional)
1 tbsp smooth peanut butter
For the top:
15g melted chocolate
Chopped peanuts
Method:
Combine the oats, almond milk and protein powder if using.
Drizzle the peanut butter over the top and then pour on the melted chocolate.
Lastly, top with the chopped peanuts and leave to set in the fridge, preferably overnight but a few hours will be fine too.
